Our Organic "Creamy Rice" Brown Rice Farina Hot Cereal is carefully milled from the finest whole grain brown rice. Satisfyingly smooth and gentle in flavor, this wholesome cereal is a favorite of adults and kids alike. It contains no sugar or saturated fat and provides three grams of protein and two grams of fiber per serving. It's also gluten-free, so it's great for people with special diets.
Bob's Red Mill products labeled Gluten Free are batch tested in our quality control laboratory. We use as ELISA Gluten Assay test to determine if a product is gluten free.

Cooking Instructions
To cook as a hot breakfast cereal, just bring 3 cups water and 1/2 teaspoon salt to a boil. Add 1 cup Bob's Red Mill Organic Brown Rice Farina and turn heat down. Cook for about 5-8 minutes, stirring occasionally. Don't overcook. Serve with honey (or brown sugar), milk and raisins, if you like. Also try some as a substitute for potatoes for dinner. Just cook as above but add chopped green onions, mushrooms, any other herbs or spices you like and serve with butter on top.
Microwave Instructions:
In large bowl, combine 1/4 cup Bob's Red Mill Organic Brown Rice Farina Cereal and 1 cup water. Cover and microwave on high for 3 to 5 minutes. Let stand for 2 minutes. Makes 1 serving.
