Any tricks for applying it? Its so hard, doesnt melt if I hold it on skin to warm it up. Its so painful to apply, but it works so I want to keep using it. Wetting it with water doesn't help... It's so hard!

I agree it's very hard. I'm in the middle of winter. Maybe it's designed for a warmer climate? But I find even a light rub over the skin works well. It doesn't have to schmear on to the skin to be effective.
