L-Glutamine For Protein Synthesis
L-Glutamine is a conditionally essential amino acid. During intense training, the L-Glutamine levels in your muscles drop sharply. This, in turn, decreases strength, stamina and recovery. Research demonstrates that following a rigorous workout, it may take up to six days for L-Glutamine levels to return to normal without supplementation. Without adequate levels of L-Glutamine, it is impossible for protein synthesis to occur.
Improved Muscle ‘Pump’
L-glutamine also increases cell volumization immediately, increasing sarcoplasmic fluid levels, improving your muscle ‘pump’ and aiding in muscle protein synthesis. Research has shown that l-glutamine helps muscle cells to utilize both protein and carbohydrates. L-glutamine also acts as a powerful ammonia scavenger.
Suggested Use
1 Scoop before & after workout prior to bedtime
Recommended Use
Mix 1 scoop of USN Pure Glutamine with 8-100 oz water, protein drink or juice of your choice.
Take one serving prior to workout and another serving following your workout. For best results, take at least serving prior to bedtime.
