Sulforaphane Glucosinolate (SGS) and Enhanced Liver Support
In addition to providing a blend of key botanical extracts, nutrients, and nutrient cofactors in an easy-to-use powder formula, MediClear-SGS offers enhanced liver support by adding sulforaphane glucosinolate (SGS) ? an extract from the seeds and sprouts of select broccoli varietals ? to up-regulate the body's phase II detoxification enzymes. SGS is also an indirect antioxidant that protects cells from damage by free radicals. Each serving of MediClear-SGS contains 30 mg of sulforaphane glucosinolate ? equivalent to eating 1.2 pounds of broccoli.
Detoxification Redefined by Phytosome Technology
MediClear-SGS contains curcumin, green tea, and grape seed extracts complexed as phytosomes for enhanced absorption and delivery to the tissues. Phytosomes are specific plant extracts that are complexed to phosphatidylcholine, which increases the absorption and blood levels of the desired botanical constituent and enhances support of the body’s normal inflammatory response to toxic insults.
Detoxification Cofactors
MediClear contains vitamins, minerals, botanicals, and amino acids for detoxification and liver support. Its ingredients include milk thistle extract, glutathione, L-glutamine, NAC, and the best-utilized forms of vitamins ? for example P5P (active B6), L-5-MTHF (active folate), and methylcobalamin (active B12).
Why Rice and Pea Protein?
The combination of rice and pea is used because of their low incidence of allergenicity. It is far more likely for dairy or soy proteins to initiate an allergic reaction. Using rice and pea proteins eliminates most allergenic proteins from the diet, while maintaining high-quality protein intake.
Suggested Use
For adults and children 12 or more years of age. Mix one serving (two scoops) with 10 ounces of cold water, vegetable or fruit juice, rice milk, or nut milk as recommended by your health-care practitioner. This product is not a medica food. It is intended to be utilized in conjunction with a complete dietary program. Do not use in diets supplying less than 600 calories per day without complete medica supervision.
