Product OverviewDescriptionAn all-natural nutraceutical formula which combines Bee Pollen with L-Tryptophan, Brewer's Yeast and Vitamin B-6. Avian Tranquility is designed to address feather-plucking, separation syndrome, transport anxiety, and changing of homes or cages. L-Tryptophan, a naturally occurring amino acid, is the biochemical precursor of Serotonin. It has been shown that oral ingestion of L-Tryptophan can stimulate the production of Serotonin and increase Serotonin levels in the body. Serotonin is the chemical messenger in the brain that deals with stress, anxiety and depression. It has been shown that stress and depression result in a decrease in Serotonin levels. The depletion then causes a cyclical effect, resulting in a decrease in ability to deal with further stress. Suggested UseFor medium to large sized birds administer 1/4 teaspoon per day.
