Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) is a vitamin-like compound that plays a central role in cellular energy production. CoQ10 is found throughout the body, but is especially concentrated in the heart, liver, and kidney and production has been found to decline with age. CoQ10 functions as a potent free radical scavenger in cell membranes, as well as within blood vessels. Years of scientific research have shown that CoQ10 helps to maintain a healthy heart and vascular system.

Q & A (4)
I would like to know if it is ubiquinone or ubiquinol. which is better?
They have the same end results - but take different pathways to the end result. There is confusing research out there - some saying one form (ubiquinol) is better absorbed - this is true but your body will convert ubiquinone to ubiquinol. Some research suggests that some people have trouble converting one to the other but this hasn't held up. It appears your body converts back & forth between the 2 forms. So, if you want to be extra cautious, use ubiquinol - but the real key is to get very high quality regardless of if it's ubiquinol or ubiquinone form
