Name: Mesquite, Prospois pallida, aka "Kiawe", "American Carob"

Country of Origin: Peru

Climate: Arid to Semi-Arid regions

Ethnobotany: Versatile and tasty pods have been ground down for centuries into flour, molasses and even used to make beer.
Directions

Recommended Use: Use 1 Serving Per Day.

Smoothie Recipe: The Smokin' Mango - Serves 1

  • 1 tablespoon of mesquite powder
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 cup mango
  • ?? ripe avocado

Directions: Place ingredients in a blender and blend?á until smooth. Pour into a glass and enjoy!
