Is it dishwasher safe to clean?
Yes, it dishwasher safe. Made of porcelain. I do not use a dishwasher due to water conservancy, but the package indicates dishwasher and microwave safe.
looks tricky to use? i am used to the blue neti pot from Neil Med which has a cover to prevent spillage. do you notice this particular pot will spill its liquid while doing the rinse? im worried there is no cover
I have not noticed that to be a problem. I believe the shape of the pot and the angle in which it is held causes it to work just fine. I use it over the bathroom sink since the water is going into one nostril and out the other.
