Our Hazelnut Meal/Flour is made from pure hazelnuts grown in the Pacific Northwest. This gluten free, grain free flour is a nutritious source of fiber and vitamin E, and contains 5 grams of carbohydrates per serving. Use Hazelnut Meal/Flour to add a naturally sweet, rich flavor to baked goods, or try it as a delicious breading for meats and vegetables.
Bob's Red Mill products labeled Gluten Free are batch tested in our quality control laboratory. We use an ELISA Gluten Assay test to determine if a product is gluten free.

Chocolate Chip Hazelnut Cookies
The rich flavors of hazelnut and dark chocolate make these wholesome cookies taste like a decadent treat.
- 1 Tbsp Flaxseed Meal
- 3 Tbsp Water
- 1 cup Bob's Red Mill Hazelnut Meal/Flour
- 1/2 cup Coconut Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 3/4 cup Almond Butter
- 1/2 cup Applesauce
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 Dark Chocolate Chips
Preheat oven to 350?F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Combine flaxseed meal and water in a small bowl and set aside to thicken. In a medium bowl, whisk together hazelnut meal, coconut sugar, baking soda and salt. In a large bowl, mix together almond butter, applesauce, vanilla extract and flax/water mixture. Add dry ingredients to wet and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips. Place approximately 1 1/2 tbsp of dough per cookie on the prepared baking sheet, leaving 1 inch between each cookies. Bake until set, 15-18 minutes. Remove from the oven and cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then move to a rack and cool completely. Makes 20 cookies.
