Just add... 800g potatoes, peeled, chopped 1/4 cup (60mL) reduced fat milk, 2 tablespoons margarine, 1 tablespoon canola oil, 500g lean beef mince, 1 pack recipe base, 1 cup (250mL) water, 1/3 cup tomato paste, 11/2 cups (220g) frozen peas, carrots & corn and 1/2 cup (60g) grated tasty cheese. Preparation time: 10 minutes Cooking time: 40 minutes. 1) Pre-heat oven to 200?C (180?C fan-forced). Boil potatoes until tender. Drain, then mash with milk and margarine. 2) Meanwhile, heat oil in a frying pan over medium-light heat. Add beef mince and cook until browned. Add combined recipe base, water and tomato paste. Bring to the boil, stirring. Reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes or until sauce has thickened slightly. Stir in frozen vegetables and cook for 1 minute. 3) Spoon mince filling into an 8-cup capacity oven-proof dish. Top with mashed potato cheese. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
