Baked to Perfection
Indulge in beautifully textured scones, fresh from your oven. Delicately crunchy on the outside, and soft and moist on the inside, these scones have a bright citrus flavor that pairs perfectly with clotted cream.
Directions
You will need:
Preheat oven to 375°F. Place the Packet One ingredients in a medium bowl.
Pour in the cream and mix until blended and absorbed into the mix. Work the dough lightly in the bowl and turn out onto a lightly floured surface. Fold the dough over about 3 or 4 times until smooth. Press dough into a 6 circle with your hands. Cut the dough into 8 pie shaped wedges. Place the wedges on a lightly greased baking sheet. Brush lightly with cream and sprinkle with the sugar from Packet Two. Bake 20 to 25 minutes until lightly brown on top. Cool before serving. Makes 8 scones. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
