Matcha is prepared by whisking the powder in hot water to create a vivid green tea with a deliciously smooth, creamy flavor and frothy, espresso-like mouthfeel.
Sift: Sift 1 tsp (2 g) matcha into a bowl.
Water: Add 2.5 oz (70 ml) of hot water, about 160?F.
Whisk: Whisk with a bamboo chasen 15 seconds until rich and foamy.
