This luscious creamy tomato-based sauce is practically England?s national dish. Gently ?avored with sweet spices, it?s so good you?ll want to lick the platter clean. Great simmered with grilled or saut?ed chicken--simply simmer with stock and cream or coconut milk to make deliciously authentic Chicken Tikka Masala, or try it with paneer cheese for an indulgent vegetarian option.
Directions
Sear 1 lb cubed boneless chicken thighs or ? lb paneer in 2 tbsp oil.? Add the sauce. Use 2-4 tbsp chicken stock or water to rinse out any sauce remaining in the jar and add. For a more luscious sauce add ? cup cream or coconut milk. Simmer till cooked through. Taste for salt and stir in a pat of butter just before serving. Enjoy hot with naan, rice or crusty bread. Serves 3.
