Henry Blooms Selenium Forte 150 mcg can help reduce the visible signs of ageing by preserving tissue elasticity. Selenium is a compound of an important antioxidant which helps protect cells and tissues against the damaging effects of free radicals. Factors such as pollution, radiation, cigarette smoke and herbicides can create an abundance of free radicals which can lead to premature ageing.

The Selenium in Henry Blooms Selenium Forte 150 mcg is a compound of the important antioxidant glutathione peroxidase, which helps protect cells and tissues against the damaging effects of free radicals. While free radicals arise normally in the body and do have a function, factors such as pollution, radiation, cigarette smoke and herbicides can create an abundance of them leading to premature ageing and disease. Selenium binds to metals such as lead, mercury, aluminium and silver minimising their absorption in the body.

Antioxidants are naturally occurring chemicals in foods that help to counter the detrimental effects of oxygen free radicals, which form during normal metabolism and through external factors such as x-rays, ultra-violet radiation and pollution.

Instructions:
Adults: Take 1 capsule daily.

This product contains selenium which is toxic in high doses. A daily dose of 150 micrograms for adults of selenium from dietary supplements should not be exceeded.
