Omega Seed Salvia hispanica L seeds naturally contain significant levels of omega fatty acids (typically >60% by weight). This is one of the higher percentages of Omega-3 from plant or vegetarian sources.
These nutritious packed seeds come from a desert plant that is a member of the mint family. In pre-Colombian times, Salvia hispanica L was a component of the Aztec and Mayan diets and the basic survival food of Aztec warriors. Known as "running food," these seeds were consumed by the Aztecs for energy and endurance.

Suggested Use
Add 1 serving (1 1/2 tsp or 3.7 grams) of Omega Seed to your favorite food or beverage (at least 8 oz). If adding to beverage consume shortly after mixing as mixture will thicken.
Omega Seed Funfresh Energy Drink:
Add one serving of Omega Seed to 8 oz. of water, add squeeze of lime or lemon to taste.
