Suggested use
Briefly rinse dried mushrooms in very cold water. Soak in a volume of warm water that is equal to twice the volume of mushrooms. Soak for 30 minutes. Mushrooms should be plump, soft and tender. If dry or tough, continue soaking to desired texture. Drain and press out excess water. Use mushrooms as desired. Remaining water can be used as a base for sauces, soups or stocks.
