The Story of Dr. Jacobs

Dr. Jacobs perfected the long-standing Castilian tradition of making Jobon de Castilla,? Castile soap, before the turn of the nineteenth-century. Today, we still use the same recipes and work to uphold the long-standing tradition of making natural Castile soap products.

Our soaps are made with an assortment of natural ingredients which produce a mild and creamy lather, making it safe to use on even the most sensitive skin. Dr. Jacobs Natural Castile soaps are even gentle enough for babies' delicate skin.

Castile soap is very versatile and can be used as an alternative to shampoo and conditioner, body wash, facial cleanser, and as a shaving oil. Castile soap is non-greasy and will not clog pores. It is also a great household cleaner, laundry detergent and dish soap.

Directions

Body Wash: Pour on a washcloth, sponge or hand. Lather and rinse.

Shampoo: Gently massage a small amount throughout wet hair. Rinse.

Laundry Detergent: Add 1/8 cup Castile soap to your laundry in place of your regular detergent.

Household Cleaner: Dilute 1 cup Castile soap to 6 cups water. Transfer to a spray bottle.

Dish Detergent: Add a few drops in a sink full of running water or to a sponge.
