Raw and unfiltered, this Smoked Woodland Honey is made by beekeepers using natural woodsmoke to calm their bees, which imparts a distinctive sweet and smoky flavor to the honey, perfect for barbecue sauces, dressings and marinades. It's a unique product of Tanzania's Miombo woodlands, one of the last wild chimpanzee habitats in the world and the site of Dr. Jane Goodall's groundbreaking research. Honey generates sustainable income for local communities, preventing deforestation and ensuring honeybee welfare.
