Vibrant reddish-orange in hue, with a rich, nutty flavor, red split lentils are a feast for the eyes & the palate! They are a delicious source of protein, iron, & potassium.
Sort & rinse. Bring 2 cups water & 1 cup lentils to boil, reduce & simmer for 15-25 minutes, or until tender. Drain & serve.
