CLR Calcium, Lime & Rust Remover is a powerful formula that quickly and easily dissolves and removes tough calcium and lime deposits as well as surface rust stains from bathtubs, toilet bowls, sinks, glass, chrome, fiberglass, stainless steel, kettles, humidifiers, dishwashers, washing machines and showerheads.
The formula also is ideal for use on caravans and boats. CLR Calcium, Lime & Rust Remover is part of the EPAs Safer Choice Program recognising the product as a safer alternative to chemicals. The fast-acting, powerful CLR formula is septic-safe and contains no phosphates. Always spot test in an inconspicuous area before beginning to clean.
Directions
Before you get started, always use gloves and check your surface is appropriate for CLR. We recommend spot testing on a hidden area first.
Step 1: Mix equal parts of CLR and warm water.
Step 2: Apply directly with a sponge, cloth or brush.
Step 3: Leave for 2 minutes then rinse thoroughly with cold water.
Step 4: For stubborn stains, use CLR undiluted. Repeat process.
Dishwashers/washing machines: Empty machine and then run till the main cycle begins. Pause and add 1/2 a cup of CLR, then continue cycle. Once finished, run an additional rinse cycle to fully rinse the machine.

Dishwashers/washing machines: Run empty machine without detergent up to the main wash cycle. Stop machine and add half a cup of CLR. finish cycle. Run an additional full wash and rinse cycle to fully rinse the machine.
Toilet bowl: Remove as much of the water as possible, add CLR and warm water mixture, scrub if necessary and allow to sit for 2-5 minutes. Rinse thoroughly.
