Brunnings Tough Lawn Seed is a quick-germinating, hardy lawn seed blend suitable for fast establishment of new lawns and the thickening up of existing lawns.

Directions
Planting a Beautiful lawn
Plant... Spring, Summer or Autumn
Step 1 Dig soil to a depth of 10cl. Work the top 3cm of soil to a fine smooth texture (a load of sandy-loam topsoil will help). On hard clay soils. apply Brunnings gypsum.
Step 2 Check soil acidity - pH6 to 7 is ideal adjust acid soils with Brunning lime.
Handy hint After soil preparation. leave area for about 2 weeks, when weeds begin to germinate. Watering will help initiate germination of weeds. Then spray entire area with glyphosate weed killer like Brunning Weed Kill. Once weeds have died off. go to next step. This helps create a weed-free lawn.
Step 3 Rake Brunning Lawn Planting Fertiliser into the soil. Spread Brunnings Tough Lawn Seed evenly. firm down or tread seed into surface.
Step 4 Water with fine spray and keep damp until lawn is established (1 to 3 weeks). Lawns sown in late Spring or Summer need frequent watering during the first summer
Step 5 Mow when grass is about 5cm high. removing only the top 2cm
