May help maintain healthy cholesterol levels when combined with a low fat diet. Aids or assists in the treatment of fluid retention.

Psyllium husk is one of the most gentle yet effective dietary fibres available. A natural mucilaginous bulk forming agent which absorbs water to form a mucilaginous mass to ensure gentle and free bowel evacuation. 2 to 3 days may be needed for optimal relief from constipation. Made from natural grain, the Psyllium seed, the fibre is not retained by the body.
