There is easy, then there is good.? BlockOut CERTIFIEED NATURAL mineral sunscreens are formulated to protect sensitive skin from sun damage. Unlike chemical-based sunscreens which absorb the sun?s harmful rays from within the body, BlockOut mineral sunscreens remain on top of the skin and reflect the sun?s harmful rays ? for those whose bodies are their temples, reflection vs. absorption is the better alternative.? As mineral sunscreens remain on TOP of the skin, however, proper application takes a moment longer and may leave an amount white residue on the skin.? Suffice to say, our sunscreen lotions have been micronized to make application as easy as possible.
Directions
- apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure
- reapply: after 40 minutes of swimming or sweating; immediately after towel drying; at least every 2 hours
- Sun Protection Measures. Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin disease and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a Broad Spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including:
- limit time in the sun, especially from 10 am - 2 pm
- wear long-sleeve shirts, pants, hats, and sunglasses
- children under 6 months: Ask a doctor
