Lots of barnyard fun for the whole family! Bernie?s Farm Macaroni & Cheese features fun barnyard shapes, like rabbits, tractors, cows, & carrots. Did you know? Annie started her small organic vegetable farm with her husband Rob 20 years ago, and today they have approximately eight acres in certified organic vegetable production and 32 acres in hay.
Directions
Annies Way in 12 Minutes
- Boil: 6 cups water in a medium saucepan
- Stir in: pasta, bring to boil. Cook 8-10 minutes, or until done, stirring often.
- Drain Pasta: in colander. While pasta is draining...
- Add: 1/4 cup lowfat milk to the warm saucepan. (Optional: Add 2 Tbsp unsalted butter for richer flavor)
- Sprinkle: cheese over milk; stir to combine.
- Add: cooked pasta back to saucepan and stir well.
Annies Suggestions: For a Richer flavor, add 2 Tbsp unsalted butter. For a Creamy, Tangy version, replace milk with 1/2 cup lowfat yogurt.
